It’s a special moment to encounter from time to time when you try something on and feel totally yourself. It’s when you’re not trying to express your clothing through your being, but the clothes themselves accentuate who you are as a person. Too deep? Maybe. But hell, I love this outfit and feel so myself. How great would it be if we could wake up every day and feel beautiful AND totally ourselves. Sometimes when I wear certain items I feel like I’m a poser, for lack of a better word. But when I throw on a maxi skirt, boots, and a floppy sunhat and I feel very much like Karen. A good feeling indeed.
