My mom is a big beautiful woman, and she is a confident and strong woman. She is a mother of two, a widow, and a cancer survivor, and she is amazing, and I love her.
Growing up, I noticed that my mom never had problems with her confidence levels, and everyday she dressed up, put on makeup and smiled. She told me that size isn’t important, and that taking care of yourself and making sure that you try your best to look your best everyday meant so much more because it meant that you loved yourself, and people would definitely notice.
I believe that my mom imbued me with a lot of self confidence and taught me to be accepting of everyone of every size, and to love myself no matter what size I am. And that second one is hard. Especially in today’s society when we are constantly bombarded…
