1. The Perfect Brush
Unless you want a raw, streaky look, don’t apply foundation with your fingers! Instead, try a fluffy brush for an airbrushed finish, or a makeup sponge for completely full coverage.
2. Concealing imperfections
The best tip for most skin types is to use a light foundation all over and then just conceal the problem areas. I always apply concealer after foundation, simply because once the foundation is on you can really see the areas you need to highlight or conceal. If you apply before, it’s also likely to rub off when you apply your foundation.
Always apply powder where you are shiniest first, which it usually your T-zone, with a very light dusting everywhere else.
When applying blush, first smile, then start on the apple of the cheek, blend the blush back towards the top of the ear, then down toward the jawline.
